A new survey has revealed the most popular proposal destinations in the UK.

With the news that winter engagements are at a new high, it seems not even a global pandemic or national lockdown can put a stop to engagement season. However, while international travel is off the cards for the foreseeable, there are still plenty of romantic hotspots closer to home, as a new survey reveals the most popular proposal destinations in the UK.

Nerdwallet surveyed over 1,000 recently married Brits to reveal the preferred locations for a proposal, wedding, and honeymoon – both in the UK and around the world. The study also examined Google Search trends to further analyse British people’s search habits around marriage and love over the last 12 months.
