“For this editorial, I really wanted to speak to the modern stylish couple, my vision was to showcase a contemporary yet romantic look with a touch masculinity flowing through.”

I was so excited to shoot at Barnsley House, which is an exclusive hotel and wedding venue nestled in a stunning Cotswolds village and has a storybook garden you only dream of. The shoot took place in the Temple garden, its intimacy was picture-perfect and had the charm and elegance I was looking for.”

“The shoot was captured by the incredible Taylor Hughes photography, whose work I have been following for some time. I was thrilled when Jack & Jade said that they wanted to be part of the shoot. Their photography is modern and unbelievably stylish and they manage to capture those intimate moments so beautifully.”

Iris and Co flowers took my vision and designed the florals perfectly. Gemma took the traditional white and green and added a modern twist with layers of gorgeous roses, stocks, ammi and dancing scabiosa among rich textures of eucalyptus, jasmine and ferns.”

“For the table, a large urn design took centre stage among the minimalist classic table styling, with the purest white flowers perfectly layered with a few stems cascading down for a really natural look using delphiniums, spray roses and waxflower to build texture and play with flower shapes.”

“The bouquet was beautifully finished with the most striking black silk ribbon from Pom Pom Blossom.

“I layered a beautiful dinner and crockery collection with the beautiful Urbane linen collection from Just 4 Linen and added a velvet ribbon bow to each of the napkins to add an air of feminine softness.”

“The stunning glass candlesticks and lanterns were sourced from The W Collection. The candlesticks were complimented by using the stylish black tapered candles from Ester & Erik and the black square lanterns added the masculine edge I wanted to continue running through the look.”
“The stationery was provided by the talented Louise from Lou Paper It used the monochrome palette to bring a contemporary feel to the design through the use of smooth black and crisp white cardstock.”

“Tying together classic refined typography with modern hand calligraphy and simple formatting to create a perfectly balanced stationery suite. The hand drawn venue illustration completed the look with a personal and bespoke finishing touch.”

“The Cake I could only describe as a piece of art. Cake Buds designed the most incredible contemporary cake which showcased beautiful black marbling, echoing the timeless monochrome feel.”

“The bride wore the most exquisite gown designed by Suzanne Neville. ‘Amber’ from the Flores collection gave the chic, modern, sultry look I wanted to create. Its clean lines with the structured bodice and square neckline were simply breath-taking.”

“The models look was completed with stunning hair and makeup by Jo Adams from Hair & Makeup Atelier. Christine’s look was designed with a focus on hair.”

“Keeping the makeup simple and clean, her hair was styled into a cascade of Hollywood waves to compliment the incredible tailoring of the dress.”

“A glossy shine was applied by using Maria Nila True Soft Argan Oil, Neutral Tones, with a dash of liner, lips were finished with Charlotte Tilbury’s Secret Salma. A rosebud pink, deep enough to define, but not to overpower.”

“Both the bride and groom completed their looks by wearing beautiful jewellery from the luxury jewellers ‘Lily Arkwright’. The rings and earrings were incredibly elegant and feminine and completed the brides look perfectly.”
