The White Barn is an exciting new wedding venue in Somerset with white panelled walls, high ceilings and chic detailing – a beautiful blank canvas for couples to create a unique setting for their wedding.”

“Nestled in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by golden fields, beautiful outdoor spaces and a garden full of cosmos, it was the perfect setting for a meadow inspired shoot.”

“The beautiful setting provided inspiration for a number of the details, from the textured buttercream cake and hand-painted macaroons created by Little Buttercup Cakery, to the wildflower florals, venue styling and the leaf lace detail on the dress.”

The Petal Emporium’s flowers featured Somerset grown stems in a wild, natural and loose style. Pulling in elements to mirror the barn’s own meadow and gardens, the bouquet and other arrangements showcased seasonal beauties such as cosmos and dahlias, with a further array of seasonal flowers.”

“Grasses, vines and plush green leaves formed the backdrop for the summer flowers including garden roses, clematis, larkspur, phlox and flowering herbs to name but a few. The statement bouquet had a garden gathered feel to it, finished with a delicate natural silk ribbon.”

“The British flowers offered not only a sustainable choice but also a stunning variety of unique blooms.”

“From rare colourings to charming bendy stems, they are those subtle flourishes that really add the most stunning finishing touch to wedding flowers.”

“The table styled by Apple & Bramble Events was finished with a meadow style arrangement to the front, giving that real sense of bringing the outdoors in.”

“The table top featured an assortment of delicate bud vases with individual stems scattered amidst taper candles that picked up on the colours within the florals.”

“Delicate linens added an elegant touch with gold rimmed glassware and glass charger plates, topped with floral crockery.”

“A hand lettered menu and place card by Bethan Ralph Design sat at each place setting with a delicately hand painted macaron adding the perfect finishing favour.”

“The ‘Robin’ dress is a botanical beauty from Sophie’s 2021 collection. The design features a wrap over style in beautiful leaf style lace, with delicate pleating and pretty capped sleeves edged with complementing lace detailing that is also used on the back and on the waist seam. A flowing, half circle skirt with buttons and a train finish off this dreamy dress perfectly.”

“The bride’s accessories included a pair of blush pink block heels with pearl jewellery by Devon based brand Wanderlust Life.”

“For the golden hour images the bride’s look also included a silk headband by Sophie Rose Bridal.”

Hair and makeup artist, Evie Smith, created a fresh bridal look, with natural makeup and gorgeous subtle waves giving a laid back and natural look.”

“For a relaxed summer look, the groom’s outfit included a simple white shirt and chinos from ASOS, finished with a handmade, floral tie from Beau Tie to match the meadow inspired styling.”
