Halfpenny London – Confident, Curvy Bride

Ideas

We just had to share these super gorgeous images of model Carmen Micheli wearing Halfpenny London.

Whilst we’ve made great progress this year ensuring bridal editorials are more inclusive, there are still anywhere near enough editorials that embrace size inclusivity and diversity, making these images beautiful and refreshing.

Halfpenny London + Follow

These images were sent in by Osman Marfo-Gyasi of Wolf & Co. Photography, whose photography we’ve had the pleasure of sharing most recently in this authentic vow renewal. The tiny and talented creative team who worked on this editorial used a Halfpenny classic to capture movement and to flatter and embrace model Carmen’s gorgeous, natural curves.  Osman’s words follow…

“This styled shoot was inspired by a fusion of 1920’s Hollywood and Mediterranean glamor and sparked by combination of the Ivy top and the Daffodil skirt from Halfpenny London.”

The dress gives a constant illusion of movement and coupled with the elegance of the Ivy top you can tell that the Halfpenny brand constructs and reimagines, it’s done so that the bride can be the best version of herself on her wedding day.”

“London has such diverse spaces that if you can’t elope to another country or have your destination wedding there are hidden locations and lovely mews in and around London that emulate that honeymoon vibe.”
