I’m incredibly proud to share this exceptional editorial with you this evening. These images were taken by the exceptional Georgina Harrison, who I’m incredibly proud to recommend through our Little Book Wedding Directory.

Georgina teamed up with her long-time creative partner, creative stylist Kate Cullen, and a team of other wonderful wedding suppliers, to produced these gorgeous images. Kate words follow…

“The inspiration for this shoot came from both this gorgeous real couple and our desire to show elopement and small weddings in light of recent events can still be meaningful, romantic and heart-led.”

The autumns trees gleam in the yellow moonlight, in the light of harvest moons, the light which mellows the energy of labour, and smooths the stubble, and brings the wave lapping blue to the shore. Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse

“Smaller weddings can focus on what really matters, the couple themselves, as well as providing an opportunity to have plenty of memorable details on things like tablescapes, stationery and flowers.”

“We loved the idea of holding a small family wedding on a farm at harvest time – the Harvest Moon providing a wonderful backdrop to the occasion of a wedding.”

“The September full moon is a rare occasion when if the day is clear that you can see the moon rising around the same time as the sun setting on the horizon – a magical moment that connects us with nature (befitting a farm wedding), as well as offering an air of mystique and wonder, suitable for the celebration of a wedding.”

“We wanted to continue the countryside ‘from nature’ feel across all elements of the designs, from the natural beauty of petal dyed gowns from Wilden London, to flowers grown on the farm themselves by Wild Bunch Flowers.”

“The tablescape incorporated handmade wooden vessels from Ash and Plumb and plant dyed table linens by Kate Cullen. The stationery was exquisitely set off with hand drawn illustrations and calligraphy paired with gold foiled adornments and handmade paper.”

“The natural bridal hair and make up look was created to perfection by Jennifer’s Dressing Table, the braids especially giving a country feel whilst remaining contemporary and romantic.”

“The stunning photography by Georgina Harrison sought to reflect the mesmerising light created in September, with play on shadows and clever use of light.”

“We also wanted to have a striking look with the floral headdress by Wild Bunch Flowers with the expert assistance of Jennifer’s Dressing Table, the perfect way to create memorable portraits.”
