Ingredients:

  • 25ml sloe gin
  • 125ml Fentiman’s Ginger Beer
  • 125ml apple cider
  • 10ml elderflower liqueur
  • Fresh lemon slice

Method:

  1. Pour all ingredients (except the lemon) into a pan on a low-medium heat.
  2. Bring all to a gentler simmer until hot and garnish with a slice of the fresh lemon to serve.

Ingredients:

  • 50ml sloe gin
  • 125ml Fentiman’s Pink Rhubarb Tonic Water
  • Fresh lemon slice
  • Mint sprig
  • Ice 

Method:

  1. Measure out the sloe gin and add ice.
  2. Top with the tonic water and garnish with a slice of fresh lemon and the mint sprig.

Cinnamon Collins (serves 1)

Ingredients:

  • 50ml whisky
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 10ml cinnamon spiced syrup (available from Amazon and most online food stores)
  • 10ml honey
  • Fentiman’s Ginger Ale 
  • Fresh lemon slice

  • Ice

Method:

  1. Mix the whisky, lemon juice, cinnamon-spiced syrup and honey in a short tumbler-style glass with a teaspoon and add ice.
  2. Fill the rest of the glass with ginger ale.
  3. Garnish with a slice of fresh lemon and the cinnamon stick.

Winter Warmer Cocktail (serves 1)

Ingredients:

  • Tame & Wild’s Damson, Rosehip and Passionflower Drink
  • Sloe gin
  • Orange peel
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Start off by adding a generous handful of ice into your rocks glass and set aside.
  2. To create the orange twist: with a smooth, even motion roll the orange around in your hand continuing to cut a strip of the peel as you go. Stop when you have the desired length or until the peel naturally cuts off. Roll the strip of peel into a spiral without breaking it.
  3. Add one shot (50ml) of Sloe Gin.
  4. Top with Tame & Wild Damson, Rosehip and Passionflower’s sparkling non-alcoholic drink.
  5. Garnish with orange twist and enjoy!

Rose Snowball (serves 1)

  • 75ml Advocaat
  • Fentiman’s Rose Lemonade
  • Cinnamon

Method:

  1. Add the rose lemonade to 75ml Advocaat in a tall glass.
  2. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon for a festive touch.

Mulled Wine Cocktail (serves 4-6)

Serve this classic festive Christmas cocktail recipe cold or hot for the ultimate party-starter. (source: BBC Good Food)

Ingredients:

  • 100g light muscovado sugar
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 150ml water
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 clememtines
  • 150ml Cointreau
  • 750ml bottle light red wine
  • Twist of orange zest and star anise to serve

Method:

  1. Put 100g light muscovado sugar in a pan with 1 star anise, 1 cinnamon stick, 4 cloves and 150ml water. Bring slowly to the boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  2. Simmer for 2 mins, then pour into a large jug and leave to cool. Add 1 lemon and 2 clementines, both thinly sliced, to the jug along with 150ml Cointreau and a 750ml bottle light red wine, such as a Beaujolais. Stir well, then cover and chill for at least 2 hrs or overnight if you can.
  3. Serve chilled or over ice, with a twist of orange zest and a star anise. If you’d like to serve a traditional warm mulled wine, there’s no need to chill – simply warm through without boiling and serve in heatproof glasses.

Purple Queen Mocktail (serves 1)

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of Belvoir Farm Blueberry + Blackcurrant Cordial
  • Wild Life Botanicals Blush Alcohol Free Sparkling Wine

Method:

  1. Make sure all ingredients are chilled for a few hours.
  2. Pour the cordial into a champagne glass then top half with the alcohol-free sparkling wine and half with the the Tame & Wild drink and garnish with a few blueberries.

Ingredients:

  • 150ml double cream
  • 50ml evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 25ml freshly brewed espresso
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method:

  1. Put all the ingredients in a large cocktail shaker or jug with a generous handful of ice.
  2. If using a shaker, shake well until the outside feels cold, then double strain into tumblers. If using a jug, stir well until combined. Serve poured over ice.
